It has taken a few goes but Quality Used Cars are finally taking their charismatic storytelling on the road. Picking up the same songwriting prowess front man Francis Tait has exhibited so effortlessly in the past, the band continue to blend gentle alt-country with radiant Australiana with the release of their new double single “Me and Damon Drinking Beers at the Grandview Hotel / I’ve Never Felt More Alive”. In-between four shows in ACT and NSW and a handful of regional Vic dates, Quality Used Cars will be squeezing in a show at The Old Bar on July 9 with support from garage punk icons Zig Zag and local country balladeers The Ironbark Brothers.
