Melbourne metal group R U N's path to life has been difficult. Initially set back by vocalist and band leader Lochlan Watt's brain cancer diagnosis, the eclectic and colourful debut release 'For You Will Never Find Peace Within Your Quiet' finally arrived in May of 2020, before 2021 delivered a string of cancelled first shows and postponed tours. With a small handful of live performances in the bag, the cancer has returned, and the band will celebrate its music in Melbourne one last time before another round of treatment begins. Joining them for a night of sick riffage is AGLO, the new doomy project from I Exist/Mental Cavity guitarist Aaron Osborne, and slamming local upstarts Algor Mortis.
